All You Need Is Love

Love Is Our Bond

As volunteers, the bond we share with is Love.

There is no force greater than Love.

Offering your service to a person less fortunate than
yourself is one of the greatest acts of Love.

Omar shared this vision of Love with the volunteers at the Everyman Volunteer Awards dinner held in Colon, Panama in 2003. Remarkably, our founder experienced it in a dream.

From A Dream

On May 15, 1999, while in prison—Paul McCartney
“visited” me in a dream so vivid and so real, to all intents and purposes, it was real. At the completion of the dream
I awoke and wrote down what was “said” and “sung”.

Here’s what Paul McCartney said:

All you need is love! I feel that for the new age, for the
point we’ve evolved to—it is time to restate this simple
truth in a new song.

Then he sung these words to me.

All You Need is Love

To be a man, to be a human being,
Means being able to love your fellowman
No matter what the differences.

When all the chips are down
Love makes the difference.

No matter what the differences
When all the chips are down
All there is—is love.
What you are—is love.

To be a man, to be a human being
Means being able to live that love
No matter what the differences.

When all the chips are down –
Live and be that love

All You Need is Love

Then he sung:

Jaya Guru Deva Om
Nothing’s Going To Change My World...

And in the end, the love you take
is equal to the love you make"
